A note before describing Hot key operation.

The main menu displays the type of cells the unit is going to charge, Mh indicates it is using Metal-Hydride parameters to charge Cd would indicate it will use Ni-Cad parameters to charge.

This can be toggled between Mh and Cd by pressing key 6 and using the scroll keys to toggle the cell type.

>Charge         Mh
   Discharge    Mh

The above would indicate it is using Metal-Hydride parameters for charging.

Different values can be programmed for the first Charge of the day and Repeak charge.

Defalt settings are:

1.  NiCd  Charge amps  4.50 amps
2. NiCd  Charge delta 0.18 volts
3. NiCd  Repeak amps  6.00 amps
4. NiCd  Repeak delta 0.24 volts
5.  NiMh  Charge amps 5.00 amps

Note:

If cells have stood for awhile after charging it is best to discharge for 30 - 60 seconds before repeaking.  This time can be set by pressing key 3 and using the scroll keys to set the discharge time required.  Pro-Trak will remember the time and use it every time you select repeak.  If you do not want to discharge before repeak then set the time to zero.
