Some people are being caught out buying second hand
Pro-Trak version  2 or less and are expecting to upgrade it to the latest specification.

Version 2 of Pro-Trak is about 8 - 9 years old and can not be upgraded to the latest specification!!!

1. Please note that Pro-Traks less than version 3 can not be upgraded

2. 20 amp versions of Pro-Trak can not be upgraded to 30 amp.

Q.    Will version 2 charged Ni-Mh?

A.    You will have to step the delta to the lowest possible ( we think it will go down to 0.05 on a version 2 ), this should be o/k for NI-Mh cells. You will have to remember to do this every time you power the Pro-Trak up as version 2 has no memory. If you can get a thermometer then we would suggest  you check the temperature of the cells at the end of charge, it should be around 40`C - 45`C.

Q. How do I tell what version my Pro-Trak is?

A. The version number is displayed when you switch Pro-Trak on.  If it comes up with Ver 2.## it is a version 2!!!
     If it comes up with Ver 4.## it is a version 4
     If it comes up with Ver 10.## it is a version 10
